Module 3 Tips
3.00: It's just a pre-test again. Your best guess will do just fine. Be sure to look for the answers to any you miss as you go through the module... you may see them again!
3.01: Nature vs. Nurture.... which one is it? In this assignment you will be writing a letter to the editor about nature vs. nurture based on one of the topics mentioned...(OK, maybe not a real letter that you will send). Make sure you choose one of the options in which you will then defend either nature or nurture. Using the option of your choice, be sure to include two examples to prove your stance on either nature or nurture. Be sure to support your stance by using information you learned in the lesson. :)
3.02: Development - From Womb to Tomb. In this lesson, you will be learning about the three major developmental theories. Be sure you have good notes. You will need them all for this quiz. You also will need them for the final exam as well, so keep them safe!
3.03: It's not easy being a teen! Be creative. Tell me what is on your mind and what you have learned from the lesson
3.04: Men vs. Women - Gender Differences - There is nothing to submit for this lesson. However, be careful not to skip this assignment as you will need this information for future discussion-based assessments, quizzes, and exams.
3.05: How old is old? You will be interviewing a person over the age of 60. This can be a relative such as a grandparent, an aunt, an uncle, or someone you do not know so well like a friend’s grandparent, a teacher, or administrator at your school. You can also visit a nursing home or ask your friendly Walmart greeter! *Don't forget to add two of your own questions, in addition to your reflection regarding the interview and what you learned. Be sure to have fun! :)
3.06: YEAH! We finally get to talk with you again :) Be sure to be prepared and have your notes ready. We will talk about what is in your notes and ensure you will have success on your exam.
3.07: Exam time. Be sure you know the developmental theorist and have those charts handy
